4th of July in Brady Texas

The 4th of July celebration in small town Brady, Texas is called the July Jubilee.  The 85th annual July Jubilee was celebrated in Brady, Texas on July 2nd and 3rd, 2011.  Here is what you need to know so that you can make plans to attend the 2012 July Jubilee in Brady, Texas.  The July Jubilee is a two day celebration that kicks off early in the morning of day one with the Carp-o-Rama, a fishing tournament taking place on the shores of Brady Lake.  A mid-morning parade will wind it’s way through downtown Brady before the games begin back at Brady Lake along with an arts and crafts fair and food vendors.  A dance featurning live music will top off day one at the Brady Lake pavilion.  The Carp-o-Rama continues all day on day two.  Later, head out to another dance beginning right after the highlight of the July Jubilee, a fireworks show lighting the skies and waters over Brady Lake just after dark.  Check for the exact schedule for the 86th July Jubilee in 2012 on the city of Brady website at www.bradytx.us
