Christmas in Texas State Parks, Brazos Bend State Park

A Simple Christmas is the theme on Saturday December 6th, 2008 from 3PM-7PM at Brazos Bend State Park as they invite you to escape the frantic pace of the holiday season and join them for hayrides, children’s crafts, s’mores around the campfire and a visit from a “Southern Santa.”  In the evening the “Brazos River Pickers”, an old time bluegrass band will entertain.  Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy as you listen to their performance at the outdoor amphitheater.  Brazos Bend State Park is in the Gulf Coast region  on the Upper Texas Coast 40 miles from Houston, Texas.  www.brazosbend.org
