City Of Brady, Texas Recreational Opportunities

The City of Brady owns and operates a 9 hole golf course, located northwest of downtown Brady, Texas on Hwy 87N. Visitors as well as residents are welcome to play the course and green fees are reasonable. The City of Brady, Texas also owns and operates the Brady Aquatic Park. Recreational swimming is available in the summer months, usually from the end of May through the end of August. A nominal admission fee is charged. The Park, off Hwy 87N adjacent to Richards Park also has a basketball court, volleyball court, shuffleboard, as well as washer and horseshoe courts. The newest additions to the park include a walking trail and hummingbird/butterfly garden. Additionally there is a gun range, open to the public, adjacent to Brady Lake. There is no fee to shoot at the Kenneth Medlock Range however you do need to bring your own stands and targets.
