General Store and Saloon

Blum Bros. General Store and the Alamo Saloon.

The general store was a place where locals could purchase just about anything they would need. The store was also a meeting and socializing place where the news of the day was discussed and recipes traded between the women customers.

The saloon, however was a place where men would quince their thirst and trade stories of their adventures, play cards and checkers as well as mull over the world events and quite possibly how to get their crops to survive the Texas summers during a drought.
