The Dallas RV Show opens this Thursday, February 25th, 2010 at 10AM and will continue until 7PM. The Dallas RV Show continues on Friday the 26th of February, 2010 and Saturday the 27th of February 2010 from 10AM-8PM. On Sunday the 28th of February, 2010 the show opens at 12Noon and closes at 6PM. More than 15 RV Dealers will showcase their motorhomes, fifth-wheels, travel trailers and tent trailers in the more than 350,000 sq ft of exhibit space at Dallas Market Hall. RV accessories and more will be offered by vendors in booths. Free seminars will take place each day of the show. Admission to the Dallas RV Show is $10 per adult, $5 for kids 3-12 years of age with kids 2 and under entering free of charge. Discount admission of $8 is available on Thursday only for seniors. The Cowtown Marathon, Fort Worth Texas
Monday, January 18th, 2010The 32nd annual Cowtown Marathon takes place in Fort Worth, Texas on Saturday February 25th, 2010. More than 18,000 people are expected to participate in the marathon, half marathon, 50K ultra marathon, 10K, adult 5K and the kid’s 5K. This year the number of runners will be limited in the marathon, half marathon and 50K ultra marathon. There will be no race day registration so register in advance on-line or in person. Registration fees range from $20-$110 depending on the race you wish to run in and the date of your registration. The earlier the better! You will be issued a timing chip to record your race time. The Cowtown Marathon is a certified race in respect to qualification for other races such as the Boston Marathon. This multi-race event for adults and children promotes community health and wellness to Texans through the non profit Cowtown organization. Sunday, January 10th, 2010The Dallas International Boat Show 2010 will take place at Market Hall in Dallas, Texas February 05th through February 14th, 2010. The winter Dallas Boat Show features all of the new and exciting water crafts for 2010. Boating enthusiasts will be able to see the latest in fishing boats, house boats, pontoon boats, sailboats and luxury yachts all under one roof. More than 60 exhibitors will be on hand with all of their water toys as well as wind surfing and wake boarding equipment. The hours of the Dallas International Boat Show 2010 are 3PM-9PM on Friday’s February 5th and 12th, 10AM-10PM on Saturday’s February 6th and 13th and 10AM-6PM on Sunday’s February 7th and 14th. The Dallas Boat Show will be closed on Monday and Tuesday February 8th and 9th. Admission is $10 per adult, $4 for children ages 2-13, and under 2 yrs of age free of charge. Texas Fishing, Hunting, and Outdoors Show January 2010
Thursday, January 7th, 2010If you’re looking for something to do this icy weekend, you might want to check out the Texas Fishing, Hunting, and Outdoors Show. The show, which is a great family event, runs from Jan 7 – 10, offers free seminars on two different stages, celebrity autographs, tips from pros, door prizes, and product samples…not to mention an “interactive hunting habitat” created by the Texans Archiry Club. The hunting and fishing areas have been separated to give outdoors sports people a chance to explore what the products that they like most. There’s also a section dedicated just for the kids from Radio Disney called the Kids Cove. In the kids section there’s a catfish tank, games, and plenty of activities.
The Texas Fishing, Hunting, and Outdoors show will be at the Arlington Convention Center.
