On Saturday December 6th, 2008 The Beeville Community Chorus will present their Christmas Concert in the chapel of the Spanish Colonial Mission at Goliad State Park, Espiritu Santo de Zuniga. The Beeville Community Chorus performs both nationally and abroad. The December concert at the historic mission has been performed to standing room only crowds for more than 12 years. Goliad State Park is located just south of Goliad Texas on US 83 and 77A in the South Texas Plains Region.

Sunday, October 26th, 2008From Thanksgiving through December the grounds around Goliad State Park’s Mission Espiritu Santo will glow with Holiday Lights. The Mission was established more than 250 years ago by Spanish missionaries and soldiers at Goliad on the San Antionio River. It stands today, rising above the landscape, an imposing image on a vantage point overlooking the park. From November 29th through January 4th a lighted display inside the Mission tells the story of the lives of the Native American Indians and Franciscan priests of long ago. Goliad State Park is located just south of Goliad Texas on U.S. 83 and 77A in the South Texas Plains Region. 6PM-10PM daily.
Spanish Tracks and Trails, Goliad State Park
Monday, October 20th, 2008Spanish Tracks and Trails is a Texas State Park event to be held on Saturday the 8th of November, 2008 from 10AM-4PM at Mission Espiritu at Golidad State Park. Weavers, blacksmiths, leather workers and other artisians will be demonstrating their frontier style skills. This event is free. Fall Flotilla, Goliad State Park Texas
Friday, October 17th, 2008The 6th annual Fall Flotilla will take place at Goliad State Park in Texas on Saturday the 1st of November, 2008. Bring your kayak or canoe and your safety equipment and enjoy free shuttle service and free lunch if you are pre-registered. The float is 6.6 miles down the San Antonio River on the Goliad Paddling Trail. The launch point is west of the town of Goliad off Highway 59. Take out is at Goliad State Park. Allow 2-4 hours to paddle this trail which is the first paddling trail ever to connect to a Texas State Park. If you would like to make a weekend out of it primitive campsites are located near the river as well as camping with utilities in the park campground.
