Believe it or not we had more snow flying in Dallas for most of the afternoon of Tuesday, December 29th, 2009.  Just five days after our Christmas Eve storm the white stuff blanketed the area again.  The flakes were heavy and wet.  About an inch stuck to the ground before it all turned to rain.  It wasn’t a “New England type storm” as was the rare Christmas Eve storm, but it has been a winter weather week to remember here in Dallas, Texas,
