The Great Pumpkin Festival at the Dallas Arboretum 2009

The Great Pumpkin Festival is the featured event this Autumn at the Dallas Arboretum.  The pumpkin patch is filled with thousands of pumpkins and a 15 foot Pumpkin House as well at a 10 foot Pumpkin Topiary.  After you have taken plenty of pictures here head over to the kid’s corral Hay Bale Maze.  Autumn colors grace the gardens with some 22,000 chrysanthemums, fall marigolds and ornamental peppers on display.  The Dallas Arboretum is open from 9AM-5PM 7 days per week.  Admission is $10 per adult, $9 for seniors (age 65 and up) $7 for children (ages 3-12 years.)  Parking is $7.  Senior citizens pay $7.50 on Thursdays.  A full one year membership is available at the price of $60 for two people.  This includes unlimited admissions and parking.  $95 will purchase the same package for a family.  (up to 6 people)  The Dallas Arboretum is located at 8525 Garland Rd.  Dallas, TX  75218  214-515-6500
